چکیده
Background: The success of fixed dentures is influenced by the cementation procedure. Resin cement most commonly used luting materials. In addition to resin cement, there are other types materials, preheated composite. Preheating composite allow material have a low level viscosity, therefore can be as material. purpose this study was evaluate comparison shear strength and on indirect lithium disilicate. Method: This experimental laboratory with post test only control group design. sample in 12 pieces disilicate diameter 5.5 mm x 3 cemented divided into three groups based materials (preheated microhybrid, nanohybrid, cement). After procedure, samples were immersed artificial saliva at 37ºC for 24 hours. carried out universal testing machine. Data analysis using One Way ANOVA. Result: results average each 11.98 MPa 11.41 14.22 cement. ANOVA showed that significant differences between (p value 0.000). Conclusion: There difference highest group.

The Effect of Lithium Disilicate Ceramic Thickness and Translucency on Shear Bond Strength of Light-cured Resin Cement
Introduction: To achieve acceptable clinical performance, a ceramic veneer must be bonded to enamel by well-polymerized resin cement. Among different factors, thickness and translucency of the ceramic may affect the resin cement polymerization. Thus, the current study evaluated the effect of the thickness and translucency of lithium disilicate ceramic on light-cured resin cement bond strength t...
متن کاملThe Effect of Resin Cement Type and Cementation Technique on Bond Strength of Fiber Posts
Background: Resin cements are widely used for cementation of FRC posts, but their bond strength can be influenced by cement type and cementation technique. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of type of resin cement and cementation technique on the bond strength of fiber posts. Methods: Forty five extracted mandibular premolars with a minimum roo...
متن کاملComposite resin vs resin cement for luting of indirect restorations: comparison of solubility and shrinkage behavior.
The aim of this study was to evaluate relationship between shrinkage development and early solubility of two commonly used luting materials, a self-adhesive cement (GCem chemical and light cured) and composite resin (Tetric). Linear displacement, shrinkage forces and leaching of UDMA from specimens immersed in 75% ethanol/25% water were measured. The least amount of linear shrinkage (33.0±2.9 µ...
متن کاملMicro-Shear Bond Strength of Indirect Composite Resin to Three Different Computer-Milled Cores After Thermocycling
Background and Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the micro-shear bond strength of an indirect composite resin to three different types of cores. Materials and Methods: In this in-vitro study, 14 blocks (5×5×2 mm) were designed and milled by computer from cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr) alloy, zirconia, and polyether ether ketone (PEEK). Each sample was treated according to the manufacturer’s ...

AIM The aim of this study is to compare the shear bond strengths of conventional resin cement and self-adhesive resin cement bonded to lithium disilicate. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 40 extracted human molar teeth were mounted in self-cure acrylic resin. Teeth were prepared to obtain flat occlusal surface. About 40 lithium disilicate specimens of dimension-10 mm in diameter and thickness...
